In the second phase of the National T20 Cup held in Rawalpindi, Sindh and Southern Punjab had a tough match. In the last over, Southern Punjab not only defeated Sindh but also achieved the second biggest goal in the history of National T20.
Southern Punjab batsman Khushdal Shah played a key role in his team's victory by scoring a century. The young batsman scored the fastest century off 35 balls which included 9 sixes and 8 fours.
before that, the award went to national team opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad, who scored a century off 40 balls in 2012.
Khushdal Shah became the 5th fastest batsman to score a century in T20 cricket globally, followed by West Indies' Chris Gayle (30), Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rashab Punt (32), Wuhan Lube (33), and Australia's Andrew Symonds has scored a century off 34 balls while South Africa's David Miller and India's Rohit Sharma have scored 35 and 35 balls respectively.
