New design, new applications, new browser ... We examined every aspect of Windows 10!

Since Windows XP, many people have preferred to stay away from Microsoft's operating systems. Especially Vista's disappointing many people made Windows 7 look cold even.

Although the rise of tablets and mobile phones has brought Windows 8,   even Windows 8.1 has not recovered this reputation. Although it was carefully prepared, users could not get used to big changes.

Fortunately, today's Microsoft no longer acts like the Microsoft that produced Windows 8. It produces applications for many devices such as Linux, iOS, OS X, and Android. It listens to the users and offers new products accordingly.

He seems to have listened to every suggestion, especially with the  Windows 10 Insider program.

Windows 10 is now starting to arrive. Microsoft first thought of Windows 7 and 8, 8.1 users as well, making the upgrade completely free for home users.

Windows 10 is no longer just an operating system for 32- or 64-bit PCs. It also comes up with a platform feature for small tablets and phones with ARM support, and Windows 10 is from the NT family, just like XP, Vista, 7, and 8.

Legal Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 owners can update their system to Windows 10 after the reservation that comes with updates.

Test System

We did our first tests on the system that DELL produced specifically for Windows 10 and sent it to CHIP Online. The system has an Intel Core i5 1.6 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 1920x1080 Full HD Touch screen, and a 128 GB SSD.

System requirements

The system requirements of Windows 10, which legitimate Windows 7 and Windows 8 users can switch to for free, are still not much different from these systems.

1 GHz processor or higher

1 Gigabyte RAM for 32-bit, 2 GB RAM for 64-bit use

16 GB free disk space

Video card capable of running DirectX 9 or higher with WDDM driver

Microsoft account and internet access

Quick Action Center and Notifications

Notifications and quick actions are what we are used to, The fast action center, replacing Windows 8's Charms menu, is a menu and notification center that many of us are now familiar with from smartphones. The menu appears to cover the top of the screen on the right. From here, you can turn your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections on and off, make VPN connections that many people in our country have started to use, or switch to tablet/desktop mode.

It is also worth mentioning that in this section you can also see the news and notifications from your applications that are closed and opened in Windows 8 but you can never find them again.

File Explorer Innovations

The main thing you will notice when you first open the file explorer is now to consider "Recently used files" instead of Computer drives. You can see that many icons are now changed and replaced with modern looks, as well as the feature that makes your last saved files much more comfortable.

Now, many things you can do with the right mouse menu are in the Ribbon menus. For example, you can now send your files to other software via the "Share" menu if you wish, with Universal applications.

Another feature you will notice is that OneDrive is now part of the operating system. You can use your Microsoft account for OneDrive, where you can easily back up your files.

Universal Applications

Unlike Windows 8, Microsoft has also offered tools to consider developers for applications and convert existing applications to Windows 10 applications. For example, Visual Studio 2015 offers tools for iOS written in Objective C or converting Android apps to Windows 10 apps.

Naturally, the app store is also updated for this. It is not only limited to phone / tablet-style applications, it has become a platform where desktop applications can also be downloaded/purchased.

Developers just have to get their apps into an Application Virtualization (App-V) package and submit them to the Windows Store.

Another thing to say is that universal apps no longer have to have a full screen or a dedicated screen. It can work with the desktop. While you are doing your work on your computer, you can see the Twitter messages on the right.

Is Edge really on the edge?

Microsoft Edge, Windows 10's default web browser

Internet Explorer hate is one of the hatreds that very few software have. Although the IE team tried to tidy up what was done in IE9 and later in IE6, they could not get rid of the antipathy for IE.

That's why Edge is in Windows 10 as the default browser. In many respects, when compared to other existing browsers, it will be quite successful in terms of users, but we can say that it is practical and fast for now.

Although multi-desktop is not a Windows-specific feature, it seems to be quite good to be found in Windows as well.

Built-in apps and Conclusion

Windows 10 comes with many built-in apps. Applications, many of which we are already familiar with, such as Calendar, Mail, Photos, News, Finance, One Note, Xbox, Groove Music, Movies and TV, will be enjoyed by almost everyone on an operating system.

But especially noteworthy is the application  3D builder. With 3D Builder, you can create 3D models that you can prepare models that you can extract from 3D printers, which have recently been very popular.

You can also sync your OneDrive, songs, Skype, Word Excel, and Powerpoint presentations, and your Outlook calendar with Phone Companion, which we can connect to both iOS, Android, and Microsoft Phone phones with our system.

Summary

Both the free upgrade option and the opening compared to Windows 7 and Windows 8, the higher the working performance; and Microsoft has to have great excuses not to switch to Windows 10, which has now proven to be one of the best-operating systems created by listening to what users want. As far as we can see, it will be very difficult to find such large gardens. It already promises a lot even for gamers considering how performance can be improved in future games, especially with DirectX 12 support.
