Derek Chauvin Taken Into Custody by BCA

The breaking news that came just after a very lengthy news conference by the governor and state leaders but what happened?

According to the news, we were all wrapping up to leave when we found out leaders coming back and it was the department of public safety chief john herring ton that came back up to the podium to let us know Derek Chauvin is in custody, the former Minneapolis police officer seen on the video that can be seen around the world who is on the ground with his knee on George Floyd’s neck.

After that video People have been calling for his arrest. Also they have been calling for his arrest protesting and rioting in the streets of Minneapolis.

Derek Chauvin is now in custody we are being told he was taken in by the bureau of criminal apprehension.

News Reporter tells that he just received information from Andrew Evans the superintendent of the bureau of criminal apprehension that the officer who has been identified as Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd has been taken into custody by the BCA.

We will be giving out further information when we have it at this point we do not have any further information on charging decisions that will be coming from the county attorney.

Still more questions where was he taken into custody and how did this come about?

What will charges be?

What about the other three officers?

We do know now Derek Chauvin has been taken into custody by the BCA.

We do know that Hennepin county attorney will be giving us more information today after some time.

Just the one officer arrested the other three involved no word on them yet?

They said right now the only information they have is on the arrest of Derek Chauvin, no word currently on the other three officers seen in the video who are all fired by the Minneapolis police department earlier this week.
