Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi has said the most popular Turkish drama serial 'Ertugrul Ghazi' is unsuitable for Muslims they also said that making, watching and showing such films is a sin and its Haram.
Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi just released a copy of the fatwa issued on drama Ertugrul Ghazi.

In The fatwa stated that the drama "Ertugrul Ghazi" is a part of conspiracy against Islam.

According to the fatwa, presenting Islam and Islamic personalities or their deeds through dramas or films is like insulting and the dignity of these personalities, so it is not good to call it this is an Islamic drama.

The fatwa further said that dramas attribute their costumes, dress and speech which are not in fact a service to Islam but a part of conspiracy against Islam, therefore making, watching and showing such films is a sin.

Also there are some different opinions in the religious circles about watching the play Ertugrul Ghazi.

You all know the play Ertugrul Ghazi is become very popular in Pakistan at the moment and a large number of young people are interested in watching the play.

Dr.Zakir Naik Says Watching Ertugrul Is Haraam


Well known religious scholar Zakir Naik, recently came up with a fatwa about watching Ertugrul is indeed haraam its not permissible in Islam to make watch such types of dramas.
