After the recent rains in Karachi, Considering the worst situation in the city, on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the process of cleaning the drains assigned by the Frontier Works Organization of the Pakistan Army is underway.

Some pictures are being circulated via social media that shown before and after the cleaning of drains by the Pakistan Army. In those photos, it can be clearly seen that the drains are being cleaned.

According to Saeed Ghani, there was no need to call NDMA because Sindh government has already cleaned the Nullahs after rain.

Total 10,493 tons of garbage and sludge have been removed by the Frontier Works Organization of Pakistan Army, after which the sanitation situation has improved.

The pictures released by the Pakistan Army's Frontier Works Organization after the operation are of Gujjar Nala connected to Bismillah Hotel, Prime CNG, Khyber Colony and Pyala Hotel, in which the situation after and before the operation can be compared.

Apart from Gujjar Nalla, a picture of Moch Goth Nalla has also been shared, in which a clear difference can be seen in the situation before and after the operation carried out by the Pakistan Army with heavy machinery.
