Around the end of August, it was reported that Huawei would release a new smartphone with different names for each region. This has been commonplace before, especially for the intermediate series. After rumors, Huawei officially displayed the Huawei Y9a on its official website first, disclosing the full specifications.

In appearance, this device looks very similar to the Huawei Enjoy 20 series which was also recently inaugurated. As if inspired by the Mate30 Pro series, the rear camera design is made to resemble a camera. Inside there are four main sensors, with the placement of the flash on the top left of the rear body which makes it look like a digital compact camera.

The Huawei Y9a design itself is inspired by the changing color of the sky and lighting and shadows. With 3D angles on both the left and right sides of the rear body, there are three interesting color options, with Sakura Pink color which gives a subtle gradation effect from the top half to the bottom. The front view is also clean without any camera disturbances.

The advantages of the Huawei Y9a

This is possible thanks to the use of a pop-up front camera mechanism, which has a resolution of 16MP f / 2.2. The screen has dimensions of 6.63 inches, using an IPS panel of 16.7 million colors with full HD + resolution. Not yet supporting the in-display fingerprint sensor, this security feature is embedded together with the power button on the right side of the body.

Huawei Y9a runs the Helio G80 chipset by MediaTek, released last February, and is equipped with HyperEngine technology. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM as well as 128GB internal storage. It can still be added with an external memory card of type NM card up to 256GB.

With a rear body design that already looks like a pocket camera, of course, this feature is one of the most favored by Huawei. The Huawei Y9a has a 64MP f / 1.8 main sensor, with a large sensor dimension of 1 / 1.7 inches, and is claimed to be capable of producing natural color reproduction.

This sensor is accompanied by an 8MP f / 2.4 ultra-wide sensor, as well as two 2MP f / 2.4 sensors for bokeh and macro effects (4cm).

Huawei provides a special night mode, capable of taking photos of up to 6 seconds of exposure, plus a maximum ISO of 51200. Meanwhile, for video recording, it is equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization to make it more stable even without tools.

Another excellent feature is 40W SuperCharge support, previously only in the flagship series. So that users can charge the 4,300 mAh battery on the Huawei Y9a very quickly. Running EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10, of course, this smartphone only comes with Huawei Mobile Services, the Huawei AppGallery application store, and the Petal Search alternative.

Even though the product page has been posted on the official website, Huawei has not provided information about the price of this one device. Meanwhile, if checked on the Pakistani version of the site, Huawei Y9a will go on sale by pre-order on September 14, with a bonus Huawei Band 4 smart band.

It is estimated that the selling price will reach Rs. 54,999. Naturally, even though it is included in the Y series, the specifications are close to the more expensive Nova series. Especially bringing flagship features such as the main sensor with large dimensions, plus 40W SuperCharge technology.
