Sean Connery is known as a talented actor, especially after playing James Bond.

His death was confirmed by his family, according to the BBC, which reported that the actor died in his sleep while in the Bahamas.

Sean Connery was sick for some time. Apart from appearing as Agent 007, Sean Connery is also known to have played in films such as The Wind and the Lion, The Man Who Would Be King, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Sean Connery also won an Oscar after appearing as Brian De Palma in the film The Untouchables  (1987). As an actor, Sean Connery is known for his gallant stature which is supported by his good looks.

In 1999, he was named the Sexiest Man of the Century by People magazine. At the beginning of his career, Sean Connery relied heavily on his physical abilities.

Starting as a model, Sean Connery first got his chance to act in 1956. At that time, he got a role as a fighter in Requiem for a Heavyweight.

Sean Connery was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000. Until now, the family has not provided further information regarding the cause of Sean Connery's death.
