An attempt to attack the Kaaba was foiled during Friday's sermon.
According to Arab media, during Friday's sermon, a man in ihram ran towards the pulpit. Imam Sheikh Bandar Balela was present on the pulpit at the time of the attack. The man was armed, the men arrested, and legal action was taken against him.
