Neera Tanden of Indian descent has been appointed Senior Adviser to US President Joe Biden. It has been announced that Neera Tanden will be appointed White House Executive and Budget Office Director after Joe Biden comes to power.

He was not given the post because of strong opposition from the opposition Republican Party. In this regard, Neera Tanden is currently the Senior Adviser to President Joe Biden.
