Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 72. This was announced on Monday, December 5, by the children of the actress on her Twitter page.

“We are sad to inform you that our extraordinary, strong, and loving mother has passed away after battling cancer that was only recently diagnosed,” the message reads.

According to the reports, the actress was treated at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
