Senior actor Qavi Khan passed away in Canada

According to the details, President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah has confirmed that senior actor Qavi Khan passed away in Canada.

He said that Qavi Khan was under treatment in Canada due to unwellness, where he met Khaliq Haqiji today.

Muhammad Qavi Khan was born on November 15, 1932. He started his artistic life with Radio Pakistan.

When Pakistan Television started in Lahore in 1964, he had the honor of acting in its first drama. After that, he acted in countless serials, serials, and individual dramas.

Among his famous dramas are Andhera Ajala, Pushar, Lahori Gate, Du Kadam Far Was, Mithi Bhar Mati, Man Chale, Mere Katali Murre Dildar, Then Chand Pe Dastak, Dar Shahwar, Betiyaan, Dasan.

Qavi Khan was the first Pakistan Television actor to be awarded the Presidential Medal for Excellence in Performance. He received this honor on August 14, 1980.

Later he was also honored with Satara Imtiaz, Mohammad Qavi Khan has also received the PTV Award and Life Achievement Award from Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television. He also acted in many films and received three Nigar awards.
