YouTube, the world's most popular social networking site, is introducing new features for its premium customers. Youtube hopes that this will attract more people to pay premium fees.

With this premium plan, users will now get Background Music, Picture in Picture Support, and Enhanced 1080P or Full HD Video Resolution. Youtube says that the quality of upscaled images will definitely be better than before. This new video standard sits between the two existing video standards of 1080P and 4K.

Thus 1080P video quality will not be degraded for the average user. They can still watch videos on 1080P screens. But Enhanced 1080P quality is available only for premium customers.

Currently, this feature is only available to a handful of iOS users. At the same time, we just need to go to Settings and change it to the 1080P Premium option to use it. What are the differences between this and the standard 1080P version screen? It will be known in a few days.
