Information about how the Odisha train accident took place has been revealed. The death toll in this tragic train accident has risen to 238.

3 trains collided in succession at 7.30 pm last night near Pahanaga Bazar railway station in Balasur district of Odisha. The Coromandel Express, which was coming from Howrah to Chennai, collided with the Bengaluru-Howrah train which had already derailed and the standing freight train.

More than 900 people were injured. As the rescue operations were underway at dawn, the rescue operations are continuing. More than 100 people including the Central Rapid Forces and the general public in the area are involved in the rescue work. The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Balasur Medical College Hospital, Gopalpur Hospital, Soro and Kantabada areas.
